Peach Sorbet recipe

Homemade goodness – that’s where this recipe is at. It’s dairy-free and delicious. There’s no need to spend a gazillion dollars on sorbet at the supermarket. Make your own at home! Use very ripe bananas for this to give it enough sweetness, and enjoy!

This recipe makes four ice creams easily or fills two generous bowls. You choose how you serve it!

1 can of peaches, drained

2 ripe bananas, peeled

1 tablespoon maple syrup

½ teaspoon cinnamon

Put the drained peaches and peeled bananas in a container and freeze for at least 3 hours, or leave overnight.

Place the frozen fruit into a powerful blender and add the maple syrup and cinnamon. Blend just until well combined – in my powerful blender this takes only about 30 seconds. Be careful not to overblend, as it will result in a much thinner consistency. Scoop the sorbet into cones or bowls for an icy treat to be savoured in the sunshine!

Tip: Make this just before you’re ready to eat it so you can get the consistency perfect.
