Love comedy? Here’s a gig that not only will provide a ton of laughs and a fun night out with friend, but is raising money for the most worthy of causes.

This one night only comedy extravaganza brings ‘The Good Guys’ of NZ comedy together for its ninth year. Host Michele A’Court will be joined by well-loved local comedians Urzila Carlson, Jeremy Elwood, Ben Hurley, Nick Rado, Simon McKinney and Rhys Mathewson at The Tuning Fork in Auckand on Sunday 11 September.

The line up of comedians are donating their time and talent year after year to raise money for SpinningTop, a children’s charity committed to giving balance to vulnerable children.

“This is my favourite gig of the year,” says Michele. “A bunch of comedy mates getting together to turn jokes into something actually useful, like a school for vulnerable kids in Burma. The show is always terrific – everyone brings their A-game because we feel so passionate about the cause.”

Previous shows have helped fund long-lasting education projects, including the construction of much-needed schools in the jungle of Burma which now feed and educate over 300 children.
