We love Anna Coddington – as you’ll see in our feature about the acclaimed New Zealand musician in the latest issue of Good. Now she has another thing to add to her already impressive résumé, having just been named the face of a new campaign for the natural Kiwi skincare brand Trilogy.
Known for celebrating the beauty of real women, Trilogy has teamed up with talented kiwi musician, songwriter and performer Anna Coddington, of Fly My Pretties fame. Coddington will feature in an upcoming campaign titled Discover Nature’s Power, which launches mid-June. Coddington is a natural fit with the brand and embodies the natural and environmentally-friendly ethics Trilogy stands for.
Speaking to Good, Coddington talked about her passion for tackling environmental issues, which stemmed from her upbringing in the coastal town of Raglan. “My stance has always been if everyone could do what they can to make small change in their day-to-day life – like minimising power and water, walking to places instead of driving where possible – that’s what’s going to make a difference on a larger scale,” she says.
Trilogy’s International Communications Manager Lisa Wilson says the brand is excited to be collaborating with Anna. “We love her approach to conscious living. As individuals, we might not think we can change the world, but if we try to be responsible with every decision we make, all those little things can add up to significant positive change.”
With regards to her beauty regime – becoming a mum also saw Coddington become more of a conscious consumer with regards to the products she puts on her skin. The bare-faced beauty isn’t much of a make-up fan, but when the occasion arises, she goes for the natural options. “I use a Trilogy make-up remover which smells amazing and is really good for travelling with,” she adds.
Her favourite Trilogy products are the Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm, Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil and Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream SPF15. See the current issue of Good for why the extract rosehip is still one of beauty’s most powerful ingredients (page 48).
Trilogy has an international reputation for producing sustainable, ethical, high-performance natural skincare. It was the first New Zealand brand to achieve carbon neutral certification for its corporate operations, back in 2007. Visit trilogyproducts.com for more information.
Anna Coddington’s new album Luck/Time will be released in late 2016. The first single, Release Me, makes its debut on New Zealand radio this month. Visit annacoddington.com for more details.
