Through my iPhone X: Snapshots of India

By Good Magazine

May 22, 2020

The best camera is the camera that you have with you at the time, for Rajeev Nedumaran, that often happens to be his iPhone. When Rajeev travelled to India in 2018, he carried his iPhone X and left his DSLR at home. Shooting in this way allowed him to get into places and capture moments that he otherwise would not have been able to photograph. This virtual exhibition is a collection of memories from that trip; all shot and edited on his iPhone X.

As part of the exhibition Rajeev is presenting a free online Introduction to Mobile Photography workshop with Studio One Toi Tū on Thurs 28 May from 5:30pm.

The objective of the workshop is to help participants get the best out of their mobile phone cameras. This is a great opportunity to transform moments from your everyday life and take your photos to the next level. Participants will discuss the limitations of mobile phone cameras, learn compositional techniques, and discover the best tools available. Photographers of all levels are welcome.

RSVP to the Facebook event to get a reminder, and simply join the workshop via ZOOM
