Slurpy smoothies

Go a little native and enjoy scrumptious summer produce in these fresh smoothies that are always a winner

Nutty-Banana Smoothie

1 tbsp rolled oats
1/4 cup raw almonds
1 frozen or fresh banana
1 fresh medjool date
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup milk
squeeze of lemon juice

Place rolled oats and almonds in a blender and process until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Break banana into chunks and add to blender with chopped date and frozen berries. Pour in milk and whiz again until well combined. Transfer to a glass, add a squeeze of lemon juice and stir.

Serves 1

Healthy Chocolate

3 heaped tbsp Ceres Organics RAW Cacao Powder
2 scoops NuZest protein powder, Rich Chocolate flavour
2 cups almond milk
1 cup water
2 tbsp honey
1/2 banana
1 tsp chia seeds
1/2 avocado
2 ice cubes

Blueberry and Banana 

1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
3/4 cup blueberries
1 banana, ideally frozen
2-3 ice cubes
1/4 cup water or milk
1 tsp honey

Green Goodness

1 banana, ideally frozen
large handful of spinach
2 scoops NuZest protein powder, Just Natural flavour
1 cup coconut water
1 cup water
handful of mint
1/2 green apple
2 ice cubes

Peanut Butter and Oats

1 banana, ideally frozen
2 1/2 tbsp peanut butter
1 cup Greek yoghurt
1/3 cup oats
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup water or milk
2 ice cubes
