Robyn Malcolm, artist Karl Maughan and the team at Yellow NZ have collaborated on a local, ethically made sustainable underwear range to raise money for charity.
For the first two months on sale (or while stocks last), the profit from the sale of Robyn’s Undies will be donated to The Aunties.
The Aunties is a South-Auckland, New Zealand- based charity, primarily resourcing vulnerable women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
Further, the women supporting Robyn in the collection launch photoshoot are volunteer models from The Aunties Charity.

The underwear is made from OEKO-TEX and Ecocert certified bamboo. Bamboo material is luxuriously soft and breathable, as well as strong and long-lasting. In fact, it’s one of the world’s most sustainable resources, as it grows quickly and easily and doesn’t require irrigation. One acre of bamboo will yield 10 times more than one acre of cotton.
“We’ve had a lot of fun wearing the undies and checking comfort levels! We’ve also done a huge amount of washing to check the undies come out looking amazing”, says Malcolm.
Designed to encourage businesses to go digital, the newly launched Robyn’s Undies is supported by Yellow.
“As a result of the global pandemic, digital capability has become increasingly important. But 53% of small businesses say they need more support with getting online and using digital marketing, so we partnered with Robyn to help showcase how easy, effective and affordable it can be”, explains Tracey Taylor, Yellow NZ’s CEO.
