Aotearoa New Zealand-based global regenerative beauty and lifestyle pioneer, Ethique, has launched Quench, the brand’s latest skincare innovation which brings together powerful ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin B5 and jojoba oil, alongside Ethique’s home-compostable packaging and unrivalled sustainability credentials.
Quench is a light-weight and non-greasy moisturiser suitable for all skin types that promotes smooth, hydrated and healthy-looking skin.
It comes in an environmentally regenerative home-compostable push tube for ease-of-application and is equivalent to three 60ml bottles of liquid face moisturiser.
Once the product is finished, the packaging can be popped in the compost bin or buried in the garden to break down, releasing valuable nutrients into the soil.
Like all Ethique products, Quench has been designed in line with Ethique’s unparalleled environmental regeneration and sustainability credentials.
It is plastic-free, cruelty-free, palm-oil-free and vegan. Ingredients have been sustainably sourced and directly traded at a fair price.

Niacinamide helps to balance oil production and reduce the appearance of blemishes to promote an even skin tone and healthy-looking complexion; hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 are natural humectants helping to draw moisture to the skin for comfortable all-day wearability, without adding extra oils and shine; and Jojoba oil promotes smooth, healthy and hydrated skin.
The unscented, lightweight formulation of Quench was created to be used alongside products from Ethique’s existing skincare range, allowing you to build your own plastic free skincare routine.
Steps 1-3 are as follows:
- Step 1: Cleanse – with either the Bliss Bar for balanced to dry skin or the Deep Green cleanser for oily to balanced skin.
- Step 2: Moisturise – with Quench in the morning and evening or with the addition of The Perfector solid face cream for the evening. The Perfector solid face cream contains kokum butter, jojoba and hyaluronic acid and is a more nourishing formula for the evening and for those with dryer skin types.
- Step 3: Nourish – with the Saving Face Serum, to be applied to the skin in the morning and / or evening as a nutrient booster, the Saving Face Serum contains Cupuacu, Shea and Rosehip and Pomegranate oils – all ingredients that have high concentrations of antioxidants and contain fatty acids to promote firm, hydrated skin.
