A fashion revolution is taking place this week in the heart of Auckland’s luxury fashion precinct, with one of the highlights an exhibition that aims to showcase innovative approaches to sustainability in the fashion industry.
The exhibition, Fabric Forward: Reimagining Textile Waste, is now on at the Strand Arcade on Queen Street until the end of the week.

It’s celebrating 10 years of the Fashion Revolution movement with a display of several textile artists and garments made by the finalists of the Mindful Fashion NZ Circular Design Awards. The theme for the 2024 campaign is centred around how to be a fashion revolutionary.
The exhibition space is part of the “Good News For You” initiative by Auckland Council, a presentation of artworks within the historic setting of the Strand Arcade. On Thursday evening there will also be a mini panel discussion ticketed event.
Fabric Forward: Reimagining Textile Waste is proudly supported by Good and SCG.
