Having found the road back to wellness after cancer and chemotherapy, Jessie Shi is on a mission to help the wellness of other New Zealanders.
When Jessie Shi started her journey into motherhood, it unfortunately also came with the diagnosis of cancer – followed by many months of debilitating chemotherapy treatment at a time she should have been spending with her new-born daughter.
“I came from a pharmaceutical background, so I knew the power of modern drugs,” shares Jessie. “But there was a point where chemicals weren’t enough, and my recovery stalled. At that point, I knew I needed to try to use the power of nature to help me find my way back to wellness.”
But getting the right information and support on her journey wasn’t an easy task.
“Despite my experience in the sector, I found the information available to me was unclear and confusing. The options were overwhelming. The suitability to my specific needs was murky, and the ability to get good advice was scarce. “So, I took control of my own learning and as my healing journey finally reached a stage where I could share my experience without breaking down emotionally, it became my life calling to lead a mission in shaping a complete, clear, and easy-to-follow natural health system.”
