With the majority of red carpet events cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19, many hearts are longing for fashion inspiration. I know my heart aches to see Lizzo with another tiny handbag. The 1800’s is a period that has some fascinating trends. Costume designer Alexandra Byrne pulls out some classic show-stoppers in the 2020 remake of the 1996 film, which is an adaptation of the Jane Austin novel. Â

For a more realistic take on fashion that has a direct connection to the red carpet, Dior and I is the one. The documentary takes a look into the Christian Dior fashion house operation.Â

If you are feeling like being more bold with your wardrobe, this film will have inspiration coming out of your ears. Costume designer, Patricia Field does a great job conjuring up some killer fashion looks on screen.
