Across New Zealand, the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, along with numerous other campaigns and initiatives, are taking place to encourage education, advocacy and fundraising for breast cancer research and treatment. Pink Ribbon Street Appeal

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Pink Ribbon Walks! Dust off your pinkest outfit and join thousands to walk for loved ones. The fun kicks off at 1:30pm with pre-event entertainment featuring a live DJ, fantastic freebies and a fun warm-up session to get you pumped for the walk at 2.00pm. Whether you choose the 5km or 10km route, this event is all about community and coming together.

Designer Bed Fundraising Auction

Sealy New Zealand and Wallace Cotton have joined forces for the 2024 Sealy Designer Bed Fundraiser in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. This October, two bespoke Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite beds, styled by Wallace Cotton, will be auctioned on Trade Me, with all proceeds going to BCFNZ. The fundraiser aims to raise crucial funds for the foundation, which relies entirely on donations to continue its work supporting those affected by breast cancer.
This year’s campaign features two beautifully designed beds: the ‘Rosewood’ bed and the ‘Keepsake’ bed. The auction runs from 21-30 October 2024, offering Kiwis the chance to bid on these luxurious beds while supporting a meaningful cause.

Do Good Feel Good, with ghd
For 21 years, ghd has been committed to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer charities through its annual pink limited-edition collection, contributing over $24 million globally. This year’s campaign shines a light on the personal stories of ghd employees who have been affected by breast cancer, emphasising the importance of self-checking and early detection.
For every purchase of the ghd pink limited edition collection, $20 will be donated to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. The collection includes a range of professional styling tools, designed to empower women while supporting a crucial cause.

Raising Hope with Estée Lauder
This year marks 32 years of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign. While the campaign has had a global impact, it holds special significance in Aotearoa, where nine wāhine are diagnosed with breast cancer every day. The Estée Lauder Companies continue their long-standing partnership with Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, raising essential funds and awareness.
Over the years, the campaign has raised more than USD$131 million for research, education and access to medical services worldwide. This year, a portion of proceeds from Limited-Edition Pink Ribbon products by brands such as Estée Lauder, Clinique and Bobbi Brown will support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. Read more here.
