Celebrating a decade of displaying the world’s best short films, New Zealand’s leading international short film festival is here.

Show Me Shorts gives viewers an opportunity to explore new worlds and connect with diverse subjects over a range of categories including: comedy, animation, horror, drama and more.

The festival is organised by a small team of experienced short film lovers, who select 40 of the best short films and six of the best music videos from 1,500 international entries every year. These are showcased in 25 cinemas nationwide. The festival kicks off at The Civic in Auckland on October 1st.

Show Me Shorts grows larger every year – last year celebrating the signing of a deal with Lightbox that made short films available to hundreds and thousands of New Zealanders.

This is a competitive festival that delivers a range of awards and prizes to the best of the best short films – they do say that good things come in small packages.
