Step into the Shakespearean era and prepare to be mesmorised by a full-scale, working pop-up Globe Theatre that has been installed for a season of plays throughout February to April.

The steel frame ‘skinned’ in plywood fuses cutting-edge technology with 400-year-old designs and to create an immersive 360 degree experience. Wherever in the theatre you sit or stand, you’ll be within 15 metres of the action. The result is an incredibly intimate shared experience.

The power of the Globe Theatre to inspire the imagination is evident – with fourteen permanent replicas already built around the world, from London to Tokyo, Dallas, Texas to Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The pop-up theatre is in tribute of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death this year – and honours his passion for pushing the boundaries of stagecraft and stage infrastructure. Among the Shakespearian classic of Romeo & Juliet and Twelfth Night there is ‘Play On’, a one-off show this April featuring 12 of Shakespeare’s most-loved soliloquies.
