Love Italian cuisine? Love cinema? You’re in for a treat. Italian premium beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro is bringing Aucklanders its starlit cinematic experience for the third consecutive year.

La Pazza Gioia tells the story of Donnatella and Beatrice who reside in a psychiatric facility in Tuscany. A chance to escape brings the two together in an adventure that will change their lives forever and help them realise the beauty in imperfection.

Says Peroni brand ambassador Admir Mullaaliu, “Italians have an unequivocal love and passion for the art of cinema. To celebrate this, we are thrilled to reveal that the highly anticipated Cinema Peroni series will land in February. Guests will enjoy an exclusive cinematic experience – being entertained by the Italian masterpiece La Pazza Gioia, whilst indulging in authentic Italian cuisine that will be accompanied by cold Peroni Nastro Azzurro throughout the night.”

Tickets to the February 15 and 16 nights are invite only, and tickets to the public night on the 17th are limited, so check the Peroni Facebook page for details.

Britomart’s Takutai Square will be transformed into an Italian Al Fresco cinema for three nights in February, giving guests a chance to enjoy a three-course Italian-inspired menu by renowned restaurant Amano, whilst watching the critically-acclaimed film, La Pazza Gioia.
