Nisa goes nude

Good has always been fond of the super soft organic briefs by intimates label Nisa, so we were delighted to find out about the launch of Nisa Bare.

The new range coincides with Nisa’s chic new website and features organic cotton briefs available in three different nude shades: a fawny ‘peach’, a warm pecan, and a deep and rich ‘coffee’.

To discover a New Zealand brand delving into realms where most brands don’t seem to want to go – diversity in colour – Nisa Bare is music to my brown-skinned ears. The nude for many others is a stock-standard beige, whether it’s bandages or a slip to pair with a sheer dress.

Nisa Bare is here for the right reasons. The intimates are a natural evolution of customers desiring a nude range as well as a celebration of today’s diverse society. Emily Williams of Nisa explains “we want people to embrace the beauty of their individuality and find underwear that is made for them”.

She goes on to say that when some brands come out with a nude range, there are often five different shades of beige and no darker tones, which is inadequate. Fortunately, Nisa Bare’s three colourways are designed to complement a variety of skin tones, and the garments also double as pieces that don’t need hiding away.

A leader in inclusivity, Nisa’s range goes up to a size 24, and its body positivity marketing is warmly welcomed. Because intimates are for everyone.

Nisa is an intimates label that employs women from refugee backgrounds in Wellington, NZ. Find out more about their journey here.
