My journey to health: testing Tropeaka’s powders

2020 hasn’t been fantastic, has it? The nationwide lockdown that occurred March through to May took a toll on a lot of us and I’m not going to lie, I definitely became sluggish, unmotivated, and chucked on a bit of weight.

However, doom and gloom isn’t an ideal long-term state to be in so I channeled my inner health guru, made some lifestyle changes, and got my a** to the gym. Additionally, I began researching supplements and powders that could assist my health and found that many recommendations led to Tropeaka.

After reading through the benefits of Tropeaka’s infinite range of products, I decided the Lean Protein and Ultra Cleanse were the ones for me. Unfortunately, around the same time of choosing my powders, Covid-19 made an unwanted reappearance and the gyms were subsequently closed. However, this was not going to stop me on my journey towards a healthier mind and body.

Fast forward, we have now come out of another two-week lockdown where I completed a home workout of an hour’s duration every day. I used my Tropeaka Lean Protein each day and my Ultra Cleanse powder three times. I have already seen and felt a difference in my body and believe I can provide an honest rundown and review.

Lean Protein Powder

At first, I was a bit hesitant with this powder as the two flavours available are chocolate and vanilla and I don’t have a sweet tooth. As I found out, there is no need to worry, as either of these products blended in a smoothie or natural juice taste pleasant.

Full of organic ingredients, the plant-based protein is my new best friend for building muscle and toning up. I blend two tablespoons of powder with natural yoghurt, coconut milk, and banana and drink it after each of my workouts.

The protein powder keeps me full for longer, gives me more energy, and helps with definition more than when I was without it. Not to mention it comes in a decent sized bag and is dairy, soy and gluten-free.

Ultra Cleanse

Along with protein powder, I was after a product that acted as a full body detox solution. I went with Tropeaka’s Ultra Cleanse as it is recommended for refreshing and supporting a healthy body and is full of nutrient-dense superfoods and bentonite ‘healing clay.’

Mixed into natural juice or even into water, this spirulina tasting powder is super easy to consume, and after trying it a few times throughout lockdown I felt more energised and refreshed. I’ll need to continue consuming Ultra Cleanse to know the long-term benefits, but I’m already pleased that it hasn’t upset my sensitive stomach.

So, if you’re after some products to help you along your health journey, I would highly recommend Tropeaka’s range. I’ll definitely be buying more when mine run out.
