Early bird catches the party

Morning People is turning five and to celebrate clocking up over 160 early morning parties, they are throwing their biggest party to date at the Auckland Town Hall on Saturday 24 July, 7am-9am.

Fresh off the back of playing the main stage at Splore, Weird Together will be bringing the party, with a full band experience including percussion, horns, guitar, and infectious world house music. Once the dance floor is warmed up, Shapeshifter’s Sambora will round out the morning with big-breakfast sized helpings of drum and bass, jungle, rave and dance-floor goodness.

In true Morning People fashion, complimentary coffee (yes, oat milk flat whites!) from Caffe L’affare, All Good bananas, and the plant power of Club Mate will be served to keep you feeling even more revitalised.

Morning People exists to remix people’s mornings by emulating the weekend club experience without the hassles of late nights, leery behaviour and hangovers (it’s alcohol free, people!). From humble beginnings in a community venue in Western Springs, they have roused a following of early-birds, go-getters, and people of all ages that just love to dance at a bunch of great places – in the bush on Waiheke, on Queens Wharf next to the Waitematā, at the Hollywood in Avondale, and at Hopetoun Alpha.

Tickets can be purchased here to join one of the most high-energy, positive and diverse dancefloors you can find yourself on.
