Inspired by the Jamu wellness tonics on a recent trip to Bali, SodaStream ambassador and friend of Good, Sarah Tanner, has created these delicious juices for you to try at home to stay healthy and hydrated on Earth Day and over the weeks to come.
SodaStream Turmeric Booster
2 pieces of fresh turmeric root, around 4 cm each, washed
1 piece of fresh ginger root, around 4 cm in length, washed
1 lime, or lemon
A pinch of black pepper
1 tsp maple syrup, or other preferred sweetener
350mls SodaStream water
Juice the turmeric, ginger and lime through a juicer. If you don’t have a juicing machine, you can also blend with a little water, and strain to remove the pulp.
Stir juice into SodaStream water and your chosen sweetener.
SodaStream Feijoa Frenzy
2 feijoa, peeled and cut into portions suitable for your juicer
1 piece of fresh ginger root, around 4 cm in length, washed
1 lime, or lemon
A pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup, or other preferred sweetener
350mls SodaStream water
Juice the feijoa, ginger and lime through a juicer. If you don’t have a juicing machine, you can also blend with a little water, and strain to remove the pulp.
Stir through the cinnamon, SodaStream and your chosen sweetener.
SodaStream Kiwifruit Delight
2 kiwifruit, peeled and cut into portions suitable for your juicer
1 piece of fresh ginger root, around 4 cm in length, washed
1 lime, or lemon
½ tsp spirulina
A pinch of star anise spice
1 tsp maple syrup, or other preferred sweetener
350mls SodaStream water
Juice the kiwifruit, ginger and lime through a juicer. If you don’t have a juicing machine, you can also blend with a little water, and strain to remove the pulp.
Stir through the spirulina, star anise, SodaStream and your chosen sweetener.
