Crown Range Lounge, a renowned wine bar in Parnell, is thrilled to announce its relaunch, featuring a new menu centred on sharing plates and ‘tapas with a twist.’ Inspired by rustic New Zealand fare from Central Otago and infused with Asian flavours, Chef Rhea Macapinlac’s innovative menu caters to all dietary preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
Highlights include Otago lamb tacos, beef cheek bao, mushroom dumplings, crispy pork belly bites, and Aoraki salmon rillet. Guests can also enjoy a sumptuous antipasto plate featuring venison pastrami, alongside decadent desserts like lemon posset brulee, tiramisu, and a customizable Crown Range Affogato, which pairs with liqueurs such as Frangelico and Baileys.
To complement the dishes, the skilled bar team offers premium wine and cocktail recommendations. A standout in their selection is China Girl, a prestigious Pinot Noir from Bendigo, Central Otago. Created by founder Jing Song, this award-winning wine features rich flavours of blackberry, cherry, and mocha, culminating in a long, mineral finish.
