Boutique lifestyle festival Earth Beat, returns for its second year to stunning Atiu Creek Regional Park, Kaipara, on 20-22 March 2020. Less than 90 minutes from downtown Auckland. Earth Beat will showcase a multi-genre range of both local and international musical talent.
Headlining the festival is Ancient Astronauts. Their first New Zealand show will see them bring their music infused beats that defy any rigid classification. From USA, HAANA is a one-woman orchestra, combining music, tech and art with Nordic/Icelandic influences set to a broken beat, often featuring avant-garde ballerinas in her stage shows. There will be over 60 music acts at Earth Beat to entertain the crowds over three days.
Gates open at 2pm Friday and the festival content features so much more than music.
There will be an abundance of talks and workshops, where people can experience and participate in anything from yoga, health talks, dance workshops, sustainable living, drumming and more.
Debuting as ‘Earth Laughs’ comedy is part of the festival too, with some of the funniest humans around, including Marty Bright, Jerome Chandrahasen, Tim Batt and Lana Walters.
Bring the kids, they get in for free! Earth Beat is family friendly with a full schedule of kids activities to entertain them over the weekend. Expect beautiful hearted people at this festival. Earth Beat’s kaupapa attracts the best because they see the world where life is not only sustainable but regenerative. Where we can live in harmony with the natural rhythm of our bodies and the beat of the Earth.
Earth Beat is a completely zero-waste event so bring your own reusable plates, cutlery, cups and bottles. Nothing is served in any type of single use or compostable consumable.
Get to Earth Beat on 20 March for a full weekend of extraordinary entertainment or make a day trip.
