New Zealand company, Urban Care has launched a new website and app that connects users with caregivers, social workers, babysitters, and cleaners. The services are currently available in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.

The new platform is user-friendly to suit every New Zealander. Urban Care’s Digital Marketing Coordinator, Helena So says that Urban Care was founded to make the Kiwi lifestyle easier.

“For parents who have children and need a reliable and trustworthy nanny or babysitter, Urban Care has the right people for them. Kiwis can now have the peace of mind that their home will be cleaned during the days or weekends. Finally, we have our social workers or caregivers. It is for all Kiwis with grandparents or old parents living with them which need to be attended to when they cannot.”

So says that Urban Care understands the pressure of finding capable people to carry out these services can be daunting. Urban Care screens all applicants extensively before approving them to be a part of the platform.

The platform calculates the time and tasks you require, followed by a price estimate before confirming your booking. This takes a lot of anxiety out of finding provider’s rates over the phone or face to face.

The response to the platform has been positive with people saying the app is user-friendly and easy to operate. Director Rahun Bhandari says “we want to be the number one place Kiwis turn to for help in and around their homes as well as their families.”

You can download the app via the Google Play or Apple App Stores. For desktop use, visit the Urban Care website.
