To celebrate the launch of their new dairy free ice cream made with Harraway’s Oats, Killinchy Gold has teamed up with Spring Spa to create ‘The Beauty of Dairy Free’, a luxurious spa experience for lovers of beauty and ice cream on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November.
The new Killinchy Gold Dairy Free range is the one of the first dairy free ice creams in New Zealand using an oat base. For thousands of years oat milk has been used to nourish and repair the skin with its use becoming one of the hottest trends in beauty. Oat milk is anti-inflammatory, hydrating and calming when applied to skin, and is suitable for the most sensitive of skin.
Guests experiencing The Beauty of Dairy Free Ice Cream will be treated to a silky oat inspired ritual followed by an indulgent foot massage; all while immersing themselves in the delicious world of Killinchy Gold Dairy Free ice cream with Mint Chocolate, Chocolate Hokey Pokey, Salted Caramel & Cashew and Strawberry & Boysenberry flavours.
The wellbeing ritual uses a silky oat milk cleanse to soften and soothe the feet, followed by a warm rain shower, poured from a water pitcher. Then, a gentle scrub of vanilla and coconut blended with refined oat chips buffs away the old to reveal a new healthy glow. The recipient is then treated to a relaxing foot massage, using lashings of nourishing coconut vanilla whip.

The move to expand into dairy free ice cream follows the rise in non-dairy, vegan and free-from alternatives and a recent survey commissioned by Killinchy Gold found that two out of three consumers look for dairy free alternatives while shopping and 30 percent would like to reduce their dairy intake.

The public will be able to book the treatment this week and get their hands on Killinchy Gold Dairy Free ice cream four flavours, Mint Chocolate, Chocolate Hokey Pokey Strawberry & Boysenberry and Salted Caramel & Cashew in all supermarkets nationwide.
