A delicious accompaniment to a main course, taking little to no time to make!
5 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1/2 head cabbage, sliced into long, thin slices
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 – 1 tsp paprika or chilli powder, to taste
4 tbsp cracked/dried burghul wheat
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped

Heat a large saute pan with olive oil over a medium heat.
Add the onion and fry gently for 5 minutes.
Add the cabbage and stir for 1 minute.
Add salt, spice and cracked wheat and stir to combine.
Add the water and mix the ingredients well. Cover with a tight fitting lid and simmer on a low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
The wheat should be moist and lightly chewy.
Serves 4-6
Toss through the parsley and serve.
