Here are some of our favourites from the latest releases in beauty and fragrance!

It’s In The Name
A newcomer from across the ditch, SheaMoisture haircare is now available from Farmers. As a curly top, I tried the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner, $34 each. Like all SheaMoisture products it’s formulated using ethically-sourced shea butter and helps to rehydrate and repair stressed tresses. It also tames frizz and defines natural curls. Just wash, comb and let your hair dry naturally to see the results. farmers.co.nz

The Good Oil
Despite what you’re thinking re the name, this has nothing to do with Good magazine though I wish we had some claim in its creation. The Good Oil Face Oil, $59.95, from the The Organic Skin Co is a best seller for a reason. I’ve always used oils and this one is a goodie, excuse the pun. My skin greedily soaks up this divine blend scented with honeysuckle. And you plant a tree with every purchase! theorganicskinco.com

Kate Sylvester X Aleph
Following their collab at New Zealand Fashion Week Kahuria, fashion label Kate Sylvester and Aleph Beauty have created the Gloria Cheek/Lip Tint so that you can also get your hands on it. It’s the perfect red with an unexpected pop of orange – a strong and energetic colour that works with and brightens every skin tone. katesylvester.com & alephbeauty.com

Eye Dew
Been trying out Weleda’s New & Improved Firming Face Care Range. The whole range is a superstar including the Firming Eye Cream, $46.90. It’s easy to apply, feels gorgeous on the skin, lasts for ages, tube is great for travel and most importantly contains an innovative blend of organic pomegranate seed oil and peptides from organic maca root. The latter helps contribute to skin firmness and elasticity. Yes please! weleda.co.nz

Happy Hair And Scalp
A great part of my job is getting to test many different products though that recently led to having an itchy scalp for many months – argh! So, I’m happy to report it’s loving Exper+ise essano – essano’s new haircare range that harnesses “skinification and clean beauty principles” for healthy hair from root to tip. I’ve been using the Hydration + Shine Shampoo and Conditioner, $26 each (600 ml), which smells yummy and includes nourishing skincare actives like hyaluronic acid and Vitamin B5 – and no more itchy scalp! essano.co.nz

New And Improved Formula
Linden Leaves new and improved gentle Oil Cleanser and Eye Makeup Remover, $50, now contains a creamy natural emulsifier that transforms into a lightly milky consistency upon contact with water to better rinse away make-up and pollution. Your skin will also love the soothing qualities of aloe vera and feel soft, replenished and smooth after use.
The formula also contains calming chamomile and nourishing rose oil, which also gives it its heavenly scent. It’s a wonderful way to remove make-up at the end of a long day. lindenleaves.com

Citrus Spritz
We reckon Trilogy’s uplifting Vitamin C Energising Mist Toner, $36, is the ultimate hydration spritz. It freshens skin – even if you’re wearing make-up. Ingredients include brightening antioxidant vitamin C, energising mandarin and tangerine, balancing ylang-ylang and calming aloe vera. trilogyproducts.com
