Their first cocktail – the Espresso Martini – was coined by a local Tauranga couple who came up with the idea after being served a sub-par cocktail and thought they could do better from the comfort of home.
Using a secret ingredient, the duo came up with Batched, a ready-made Espresso Martini that stands apart with its signature foam top achieved with a simple shake and pour.
Handcrafted with a bartender’s sensibility using quality New Zealand Vodka and fair trade coffee beans, the Espresso Martini is a classic enjoyed all year round.
Also in the range of Batched Cocktails is a Gin Strawberry & Rhubarb Sour, an impressive cocktail served simply on ice. The pretty in pink drink is perfectly balanced with strawberry and citrus and a rhubarb sour twist.
Shaking up quieter nights at home, Batched recently welcomed two new cocktails to complete the range – their Salted Grapefruit Margarita and Classic Whiskey Sour.
