In Auckland for one fun-filled and challenging day for your mind, body and spirit, Wanderlust 108 hits Western Springs this weekend.

It’s dubbed the world first ‘Mindful Triathlon’ and is touring 56 cities worldwide, anchoring in large public parks. Visitors can get involved in a series of mindful events, including the five-kilometer run or walk and large-scale, outdoor yoga class and a guided meditation led by the world’s top teachers.If you missed the four-day Wanderlust Great Lake Taupo earlier this year then this will be music to your ears – Wanderlust 108 is coming to Auckland’s Western Springs Lakeside Park this weekend for a fantastic one-day event featuring yoga, meditation, music, a 5km run, workshops and inspirational speakers in the mindfulness and wellness space.
Mindful triathletes will also enjoy music from live DJs and an array of surprises throughout the day.
Last year’s events saw sell-outs at the Sydney and Melbourne venues. New for 2017, Wanderlust will allow participants to “play all day” by adding a scheduled class such as Aerial Yoga, Acro Yoga, Hooping, Walking Meditation, Photography Workshops, DJ Academy, Essential Oils 101, or an extra community yoga experience from favourite local teachers at “The Haven,” the brand-new, tented venue.
At all Wanderlust 108 events, the Mindful Marketplace will showcase local craft vendors, including clothing, handcrafted items and jewellery including the new consciously-made Alex And Ani Providence Collection range. Local and organic food vendors will also be available on site, as well as Wanderlust’s signature True North Cafe by TOMS, and a Kombucha garden.
For the full series, Tahl Rinsky will be leading the day, including high-energy yoga classes, and group meditation, alongside a phenomenal array of talent in each city, including Eoin Finn, Duncan Peak, Nikki Ralston, and R.I.A. + more leading classes, workshops, and more, with either Christian Ralston or R.I.A. spinning tunes.
