Say goodbye to messy laundry liquid and powder spills and help save the planet one wash at a time with re·stor Laundry Detergent Sheets.

Traditional laundry liquids are up to 90 per cent water, whereas re·stor’s 100 per cent dissolvable dry laundry detergent sheets remove the water to save a precious resource and minimise the environmental impact of transporting it.

One box of 60 sheets ($12.50) is equivalent to 1.8L/KG of liquid or powder and provides the same great cleaning power but with no measuring out of messy powders or liquids. And aside from doing a superb job of cleaning your clothes, re·stor’s space-saving packaging takes plastic completely out of the equation.

Just pop one sheet into any type of washing machine’s drum, press the start button and walk away – capsule convenience without the plastic or hefty price tag.

The brains behind re·stor are Kiwis Grant Taylor, founder of Rascal & Friends Nappies, and business partner Renee Lee. ‘’We are extremely excited to launch re·stor. We currently rely heavily on recycling to do better for the planet, however in New Zealand, 42 per cent of recyclable plastic isn’t being recycled,” says Taylor. “We aim to make sustainable choices easier, more convenient and more affordable.”

The sheets are also starch-free, hypo-allergenic, grey water and septic tank-safe and made from 99 per cent naturally derived ingredients, listed on the packaging. Plus, later this year, re·stor is launching an eco-friendly household cleaning range.
