Multix and Trees That Count work together to protect our environment

PRODUCED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GOOD X MULTIX

Multix Greener is proud to be supporting Trees That Count, by helping to plant 1000 native trees in New Zealand.

Trees That Count is an environmental charity bringing together businesses, communities, and everyday Kiwis, with the vision of helping plant millions of native trees across the country. Their online marketplace allows businesses like Multix to support thousands of native restoration projects around Aotearoa.

Trees That Count don’t just love trees; they love New Zealand’s special native trees. Every tree counts: by planting just one native tree in your backyard, or hundreds in your community, you are contributing to CO2 sequestration, boosting biodiversity, cleaning waterways, strengthening ecosystems, and building capacity in local communities.

Trees That Count fits well with the Multix Greener brand philosophy. At Multix, the brand is wanting to make it easier for households to choose products that reduce the impact on the environment, with Multix’s Greener range the first step towards a brighter and greener future for Kiwis.

The Multix Greener Plant-Based range is made from renewable sugarcane – how sweet is that! A sustainable alternative to petroleum-derived plastic that reduces the demand for fossil fuel-based plastics. Sugarcane naturally absorbs carbon dioxide from the air while growing and produces oxygen, thereby reducing the carbon footprint on the product.

The Multix Greener plant-based range includes a BPA free cling wrap which is food, freezer, and microwave safe. Both sandwich and snack bags are 50 per cent plant-based plus kitchen tidy bags that are 60 per cent plant-based, available in 4 convenient sizes.

In the range is also a brown baking paper which is responsibly sourced from European plantation forests, and is unbleached and chlorine-free which reduces the chemical process used to produce standard bake paper.

Their Alfoil is made from 100 per cent recycled aluminium, giving a second life to materials that would usually end up in landfills. It is strong and reliable all while reducing its impact on our environment without compromising on quality!

Multix Greener is available from Countdown, selected New World, Pak n Save and Mire 10 stores.
