Meditations you can practice from anywhere

We’re not sure how long meditation has been around for, but if you’re a sceptic, rest assured it’s a tried and tested practice of the mind. In India, the practice of meditation has been documented since several thousand years BCE, and it’s incorporated into many modalities today.

We asked one of our favourite yogis Sophie Correia about the benefits of meditation, and they include:

·      Reduction in stress and anxiety

·      Enhanced emotional health and wellbeing

·      Improved focus

·      Greater self-esteem and self-awareness

·      Improved sleep

·      Generate greater feelings of love and kindness

With this in mind, we encourage you to try a meditation or two with Sophie and see if you like it. Relax your muscles, release any inhibitions, and let your mind go. You can listen to the meditations below, or via the Insight Timer app here.
