Westfield has launched a contactless, click and collect drive-thru service for New Zealanders, available at Westfield Albany, Manukau City, Newmarket, Riccarton, and St Lukes.
By using Westfield Direct, you can order online from multiple retailers in one transaction, and pick your goods up from the comfort of your car via a contactless drive-thru location.
Participating retailers include Mad Mex, Tank Juice, and The Coffee Club, and brands across food and lifestyle categories are joining the service daily.
Importantly, Westfield Direct helps retailers who are otherwise unable to trade due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Tyler Stead, General Manager of Texas Chicken New Zealand, says “Westfield direct is an innovative and brilliant initiative that has added an additional revenue stream to our business as we look to operate under the current Level 3 restrictions. It shows the true partnership between Westfield and Retailers as we all look for new ways for customers to have access to our product in the current climate.”
The Botanist is another Westfield Direct offering available at Westfield Newmarket. Owner Diana Pan says “we’re seeing people buy flowers to brighten up their home, spread some cheer to a loved one and of course, thank their mum ahead of one of our busiest days of the year, Mother’s Day.”
