Banana Choc Pops

Get creative with your fruit and take advantage of a favourite flavour combination – banana and chocolate – with this delicious recipe for the whole family. 

Recipe by Dole NZ

Serves: 12

6 Dole Large Whole Bananas
250g Chocolate of choice (we use Whittakers 72% Dark Ghana)
12 Popsicle Sticks

Topping Options
1/4 Cup Chopped Nuts
1/8 Cup Shredded Toasted Coconut
1/8 Cup Sprinkles of choice (100’s & 1000’s / Chocolate Rain)
1/8 Cup Granola
Whipped Cream
Glace Cherry

Cut Banana’s in half. Push Popsicle stick into flat edge of Banana and place on baking paper lined tray. Place in freezer for 30 minutes.

Using a double boiler melt chocolate until smooth in texture. Once completely melted dip frozen banana’s in melted chocolate. Lay on baking tray. Sprinkle with your choice of topping.

Place back in freezer for at least 30 mins prior to serving. Top w/ whipped cream & a cherry. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
