Since Deadly Ponies’ Recycle initiative launched in June, the brand has been collecting pre-loved pieces from customers to repurpose and recycle in an effort to close the loop. In return, customers receive a $50 Deadly Ponies voucher.
Their inaugural Recycle collection is handcrafted from 100% recycled leather, silk, and solid brass. Four limited edition pieces include a silk eye-mask ($79), leather sunglasses case ($149), leather coaster set ($149) and custom-designed brass hand ($699) crafted in collaboration with local artist, Hannah Valentine.Â
10% of profits from the collection will go to Dress For Success New Zealand, an organisation empowering women to experience financial freedom in New Zealand and re-enter the workforce.
